Folding Firearm Seized At Elizabeth Vale

Police seized a folding firearm and a trafficable amount of cannabis from an Elizabeth Vale home yesterday.

As a result of an investigation, Northern District Police attended an Elizabeth Vale address on Sunday 3 May. It will be alleged officers located a trafficable quantity of cannabis and a .22 calibre folding concealable handgun.

A 41-year-old Elizabeth Vale man was arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled drug, money laundering and multiple firearms offences.

He was refused police bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court later today, Monday 4 May.
