And in doing so, FA and Superloop have struck a separate agreement to upgrade the connectivity infrastructure essential for delivering automated (AI) live broadcasts across the Australian football pyramid.

Superloop's sponsorship of the Hahn Australia Cup - Football Australia's flagship national competition, spanning over 700 senior community clubs across the country - is aimed at amplifying the challenger brand's reach and fan engagement nationwide.

In a separate, term-aligned agreement, Superloop will provide Football Australia with the robust connectivity infrastructure necessary to introduce AI camera technology across key Football Australia and Member Federation venues, enabling the automated delivery of 4K resolution streams to YouTube, OTT platforms, and other domestic and global media destinations of FA's choosing.

This includes the provision of dedicated high-speed NBN connectivity at Darwin Football Stadium, one of the first Superloop sites to be activated, now powering the automated production of all Men's and Women's Premier League games in the NorthZone competition, which is already delivering major efficiencies and cost-savings to Football Northern Territory.

The deal follows the recent announcement that Football Australia has centralised the live production and distribution of over 3,500 games annually from state league level to flagship national competitions, such as the National Premier Leagues, the Hahn Australia Cup and Australian Championship, thereby enabling a more flexible and targeted approach to live sports broadcasting.

As part of the connectivity agreement, Superloop will deliver tailored solutions, including business-grade NBN internet and mobile data services, to support FA's ambitious rollout of automated production technologies and real-time collection of match and player stats to create a true 'history' of the sport.

These agreements represent a significant investment in Australian football, enhancing digital distribution and fan engagement at all levels.
