Footballers charged in Sydney

Two men have been charged and a third man issued an infringement following an incident at a Sydney hotel earlier this week, NSW Police say.

Officers from Sydney Police Area Command launched an investigation following an incident at a licensed premises on Lower Fort Street, The Rocks, on Monday (3 September 2018).

Following inquiries, two men, aged 23 and 25, were issued Future Court Attendance Notices today (Thursday 6 September 2018), for the offence of wilful and obscene exposure.

Both men are due to appear at the Downing Centre Local Court on Wednesday 24 October 2018.

A 22-year-old man has been issued an infringement notice for offensive conduct.

The hotel licensee, a 63-year-old man, has been issued with five penalty notices; two for licensee permit indecent behaviour on licensed premises, and three for licensee permit intoxication on licensed premises.
