Ford sought over firearms incident at Evanston, South Australia

Barossa Police have released CCTV of a Ford sedan involved in a firearms incident at Evanston in February and are seeking information from the public to identify the vehicle and its occupants.

About 9.50pm on Thursday 13 February, three men travelling in a silver or light coloured sedan, likely an early 2000 model Ford Fairlane, attended an Evanston address and threatened the occupant with a firearm.

No shot was discharged and the victim was not physically injured during the incident.

The men drove off in the Ford sedan.

The first suspect is described as a man of Caucasian appearance, about 183 cm tall with a stocky build and wearing a white hoodie.

The second man is Caucasian, shorter than the first and with a heavy to obese build. There is no description of the third man.

CCTV footage shows the vehicle turning around in the street just prior to attending the victim's house.

This was not a random event and police believe the threat was made in response to an incident that occurred five weeks earlier.

Barossa CIB detectives are investigating and ask anyone with information that may help to identify or locate the vehicle or its occupants, or who has any information about this incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at www.crimestopperssa.com.au
