Detectives from North Shore Police Area Command have conducted extensive inquiries since that time.

Following extensive inquiries, Strike Force investigators arrested the former scout leader at a correctional facility in Silverwater just before 10am yesterday (Thursday 31 October 2019).

He was charged with multiple offences including; solicit male or incite male to commit indecent act (x11), indecent assault on male (x39), buggery (x4), and sexual assault (Cat 4) – assault and commit act of indecency (x8).

The 76-year-old man appeared at Manly Local Court today (Friday 1 November 2019), where he refused bail to reappear at the same court on Wednesday 8 January 2020.
