The Dukes Highway has reopened after a multi-car crash at Cooke Plains this morning.
The four-car rear-ender occurred on the Dukes Highway, near Elwomple Road, Cooke Plains just before 11am on Saturday 27 December.
Two people were taken by ambulance to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
Three of the vehicles were write-offs and needed to be towed from the scene. A fourth vehicle only lost a side mirror during the crash.
There were restrictions for traffic, particularly westbound, but the highway has reopened and the traffic build-up is clearing.
Investigations into the collision are ongoing.
