Four cars stolen in Hamilton, NSW

Investigators are appealing for information after four vehicles were allegedly stolen from a not-for-profit organisation at Clyde Street, Hamilton North, over the weekend.

Police have been told that the four vehicles were taken some time between 9.30pm on Friday 19 May 2023 and 9am on Saturday 20 May 2023.

The vehicles taken were two 2020 Kia Cerato sedans (one white and one silver), a 2020 silver Toyota Corolla sedan and a white 2019 Kia Sportage SUV.

Following inquiries, police from the Newcastle City Proactive Crime Team located one of the Kia sedans outside units on Light Street, Bar Beach, about 11.50pm on Sunday (21 May 2023).

Following further inquiries, Newcastle City Proactive Crime police were called to Robert Street, Jesmond, about 6.30pm yesterday (Monday 22 May 2023), where they located a second sedan.

No one has been arrested or charged in relation to the thefts.
