Brimbank Divisional Response Unit officers have charged four males following a string of alleged aggravated carjackings in Melbourne's north overnight.
Police will allege three males, armed with knives, made demands for a man's car on Timbertop Parade in Aintree about 11pm.
It is believed the man, who refused to hand over the Toyota sedan, was assaulted by the males before they fled the scene.
The 40-year-old man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police will allege the trio approached another man driving a silver Toyota Camry on Hertford Road in Sunshine about 11.50pm.
It is understood the trio made demands for the Camry, before fleeing in the vehicle.
The 25-year-old male driver was not injured.
With the assistance of the Air Wing, officers spotted the Camry travelling in convoy with a Toyota Kluger.
The vehicles split up and the Camry was followed to Matheson Terrace in Hillside, where the vehicle came to a stop.
Three male occupants attempted to flee but were swiftly arrested by police.
A fourth male was arrested by police when the Kluger came to a stop at Kellie Court in Albanvale.
Police will allege the Kluger was stolen during a carjacking from Neil Street in Sunshine on 7 April.
The 40-year-old male driver was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A 15-year-old male from the Brimbank area has been charged with (x2) aggravated carjacking, attempt to commit an indictable offence & criminal damage.
A second 15-year-old male from the Brimbank area has been charged with - (x2) aggravated carjacking, attempt to commit an indictable offence, criminal damage.
A third 15-year-old male from the Brimbank area has been charged with (x2) aggravated carjacking, criminal damage, attempt to commit an indictable offence, theft of motor vehicle, handle stolen goods, unlicenced driving & posses drug of dependence.
A fourth 15-year-old male from the Brimbank area has been charged with (x2) aggravated carjacking, criminal damage, attempt to commit an indictable offence & unlicenced driving.
The quartet will appear before a children's court at a later date.
