Four dead and four fighting for life after Truganina Collision

Four people have tragically died, and two others are fighting for life after a two-vehicle collision in Truganina last night.

Investigators have been told a sedan was travelling east along Dohertys Road when it collided head-on with a small truck near Forsyth Road about 7.30pm.

Despite the efforts of emergency services, two people died at the scene and two people died as they arrived in hospital.

Two other occupants of the car remain in hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver and sole occupant of the truck was taken to hospital for observation.

Major Collison Investigation Unit detectives will investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
