Four deceased after single vehicle crash at Leeton

Four people have died after a single vehicle crash in the states south.

About 11.15pm yesterday (Tuesday 4 April 2023), emergency services respond to reports that a vehicle had crashed into a pole and then deflected down an embankment into a water channel onto its roof at the intersection of Research Road and Toorak Road, Yanco – approximately 7km south of Leeton.

All four occupants of the vehicle died at the scene before the arrival of emergency services.

Whilst yet to be formally identified the occupants are believed to be a 36-year-old woman and three boys aged 10, 11 and 12 who are all related to one another.

Officers from the Murrumbidgee Police District have established a crime scene that will be examined by specialist police.
