Fourth person charged after Lakes Entrance murder

Missing Person Squad detectives have charged a fourth person as part of the investigation into the suspicious disappearance and death of Lakes Entrance man Bradley Lyons.

A 25-year-old Lake Tyers Beach man was arrested yesterday and charged last night with murder, false imprisonment, kidnapping, aggravated home invasion, and intentionally and recklessly cause serious injury.

He was remanded in custody to face Bairnsdale Magistrates' Court this morning.

Three men, aged 53, 22 and 21, were arrested earlier this month and charged with murder.

The charges follow an intensive investigation by Missing Persons Squad detectives with support from Bairnsdale Crime Investigation Unit after 30-year-old Bradley Lyons was reported missing to police on Tuesday 11 December, 2018.

His remains were located at a remote location at Fairy Dell near Bruthen on 14 March.

The investigation remains ongoing.
