Frankston arrest

Police have arrested a man after an allegedly stolen tip truck was dumped in Frankston earlier this morning.

Detectives noticed the Hino truck, which was stolen from an address in Highett, travelling in Keysborough about 2.15am.

They called in the Air Wing which followed the truck until it entered an underground car park off Cranbourne Road in Frankston.

A number of officers swarmed the area including members of the Dog Squad.

A search was conducted and a 37-year-old Frankston man was arrested nearby.

He is currently assisting police with their enquires.
