Detectives from Redcliffe Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) have charged a woman with 113 offences after investigations into fraudulent purchases in 2024 and 2025.
Police will allege the woman obtained bank details from four elderly victims through her employment at an aged care facility in Rothwell and used that information to make personal purchases between October 2024 and June 2025.
A 23-year-old Margate woman has been charged with 110 counts of fraud and one count each of enter dwelling with intent, enter dwelling and commit and obtaining identification information.
She is due to appear in Redcliffe Magistrates Court on 24 September.
Redcliffe CIB Officer in Charge Detective Senior Sergeant Lisa Elkins said this was an extensive investigation that looked into a web of online and in-person purchases.
"I thank the victims and their loved ones for reporting suspicious banking activity and purchases," Detective Senior Sergeant Elkins said.
"Taking advantage of the elderly members in our community will not be tolerated."
