
Residents are invited to dispose of green waste at no cost during our next 'No Charge' Green Waste event from 22 - 24 May.
The 'No Charge' Green Waste event is for Shire residents or ratepayers only.
These events are popular with residents and delays should be expected, especially in the morning and at the end of the day.*
Remember:
- To bring proof of residency (for example driver's license, rates notice).
- Green waste includes all types of garden waste and untreated timber.
- Mornington can only accept up to three cubic metres of green waste per trip.
- No commercial green waste.

- Rye: Truemans Road
- Tyabb: McKirdys Road
- Mornington: Watt Road.

Saturday and Sunday 8am - 5pm
Stay on top of your green waste year-round
If you find yourself regularly taking green waste to the tip, you can opt-in to receive a 240-litre fortnightly green and food waste bin collection. Visit mornpen.vic.gov.au/greenwaste

* On very busy days, customers might not be able to join the queue from 3:30pm (weekends and public holidays) and from 2:30pm (weekdays), to ensure the site can close on time.
