Free workshops helping learners become safer drivers

The NRMA, in conjunction with Transport for NSW, is offering free online workshops supporting parents and supervisors teaching learner drivers.

Arm yourself with the tools to make learning to drive a more enjoyable experience for your learner and for you.

Teaching your new ‘L’ plate driver is not always a walk in the park. Workshops are designed to offer practical advice to assist parents and supervisors become confident and effective teachers.

The hour workshop includes information about licence conditions for learner and P-plate drivers, tips for using the learner driver log book and the importance of providing constructive feedback.

It will also cover

  • Current driving rules and requirements for L and P platers

  • How learners benefit from supervised on-road driving

  • How you can help make learning to drive a safe and positive experience

Workshops are held online on different days, at various times to make it convenient to attend.
