We're excited to launch a cleaner, easier way to tackle bulky waste in Campbelltown with a refresh of our popular kerbside clean-up service, featuring a new name and clearer information for residents.
Now called Bulky Waste Collections , the service, formerly known as Kerbside Clean Up, has a new name to better describe the service it provides, which is the collection of large household items that can't fit in regular kerbside bins.
The update includes practical education and clear guidance on the two cubic metre (2m3) collection limit, helping residents prepare their materials safely and efficiently for collection.
"We know our residents value this service and we want to make sure it's easy to use and access. These changes ensure our community can prepare their bulky waste responsibly while keeping our streets clean and safe," Mayor of Campbelltown, Darcy Lound said.
"By helping residents understand what can and can't be collected, we're reducing contamination, improving safety for our collection crews and supporting a cleaner, more sustainable Campbelltown," Cr Lound said.
Over November and December, the first 5000 residents who book a Bulky Waste Collection will receive a collection pack including:
- A Bulky Waste Collection Guide brochure
- A booking confirmation sticker to display on their pile
- A mini 2metre tape measure to help residents measure out their 2m3 allowance.
