The regional arts fund supports artists and organisations to create new works and develop skills. The strategic projects receiving funding will see Regional Arts Victoria expand its Regional Cultural Network to deliver 24 professional development workshops over four year; and Country Arts SA deliver a four year program focussed on regional youth engagement.
Each year, the Australian Government provides $3.4 million through the Regional Arts Fund to support cultural development in regional and remote communities. This includes support for art projects, professional development for artists, community building initiatives and projects of national significance.
