Hargreaves Mall will be bursting with fun activities from 11am to 2pm as part of the 2022 FunLoong Fun Day on Saturday October 29 - weather permitting!
City of Greater Bendigo Connected Communities Coordinator Jo Connellan said it's exciting to welcome this much-loved event back following a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
"FunLoong Fun Day celebrates National Children's Week with a great range of free fun activities and live entertainment for children and families to enjoy in Hargreaves Mall," Ms Connellan said.
"It's one of the most well attended and anticipated events for local children and their families and we expect to see big numbers again this year."
The 2022 FunLoong Fun Day program features a range of fun activities and performances in Hargreaves Mall including a Welcome to Country with didgeridoo performance, Central Victorian Lion Team, Baai African Dancers along with other bands and artists.
Other activities taking place include face painting, balloons and bubbles, craft and circus activities, animal farm, Mini Maestro Music, painting, storytelling sessions, games, learn to skateboard sessions, safe archery, slot cars, a huge climbing wall, and free giveaways and more.
The Kangaroo Flat Rotary Club will be selling sausages and vegie burgers for only $2 each and the Coliban Water refill station will also be available for people to refill their water bottles.
The City of Greater Bendigo encourages everyone to come along and enjoy this free family event.
