A further two people have been charged over an alleged brawl in Sydney's inner city earlier this month.
About 5.50pm on Wednesday (10 December 2025), police were called to a shopping centre on Bay Street, Glebe, following reports of a brawl.
Officers attached to Leichardt Police Area Command attended and were told a group of teenagers had confronted another boy in the food court area before chairs were thrown to each other.
A crime scene was established and police commenced an investigation into the incident.
To date, police have charged seven teenage boys – one aged 17, two aged 16, and four aged 15. They all remain before the court.
As part of inquiries, an 18-year-old man was arrested at Newtown on Tuesday 16 December 2025.
He was taken to Newtown Police Station and charged with affray.
He was refused bail to appear at Bail Division - Court 6 on Wednesday 17 December 2025, where he was granted conditional bail to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on Wednesday 14 January 2026.
Following further inquiries, police arrested another 16-year-old boy at Waterloo about 1am today (Saturday 20 December 2025),
He was taken to Mascot Police Station and charged with affray.
The teen was refused bail to appear at a children's court today (Saturday 20 December 2025).
