Upgrades to Coolock Crescent Reserve, in Baulkham Hills, includes new and interesting features, encouraging both artistic and adventurous play.

Climbers will enjoy the netting, vertical animal wall and sandstone balancing course and young and budding musicians can practice their pentatonic scale on the five rainbow-coloured chimes.

The double bay swing set features both a toddler and standard seat as well as a giant inclusive pod, a double inclusive whirlwind and seahorse springer.

Other improvements include a park seat, rubber softfall and mulch surfacing.

Aberdour Village Reserve playground in Rouse Hill is now a vibrant and enticing playground with swings, see-saw, pirouette spinner, cubix tunnel, double slide, challenge ladder, rockwall, jumping jacks and a two-metre commando tube. The new playground is located within walking distance of both Rouse Hill Public School and Rouse Hill Village.

Mayor of The Hills Shire, Dr Peter Gangemi emphasised how important our play spaces are for our local families.

"Council continues to invest in improvements to our family-friendly spaces and to ensure they are safe, accessible and cater for a range of abilities and ages," Mayor Gangemi said.

"I encourage families to explore our playgrounds across The Hills over the holiday season and I look forward to hearing how much you and your children enjoyed them," he added.
