Gipps Street Carpark Upgrade

Users of the Gipps Street Playing Fields Carpark are advised Tamworth Regional Council will start work after Easter on a range of repairs and upgrades which aim to improve access and safety.

The work - budgeted to cost $250,000 and funded through the Carpark Reserve - includes kerb and pavement repairs, removal and pruning of trees, median repairs, construction of access ramps and paths, installation of security cameras and the addition of solar lights.

Work start on Tuesday April 30, 2019 and is scheduled to be completed by May 30, 2019. Construction work will take place on weekdays between 7am and 4pm.

The carpark will remain open for use at all times but some individual parking bays may be not in use for short periods while the work is in progress.
