MidCoast Council

MidCoast Council is asking residents to subscribe to its weekly e-newsletter to stay up to date on important local information.

General Manager Adrian Panuccio said that Council delivers 31 different services which are part of our everyday life. That means there's a lot of important things to let community members know each week. These can range from upcoming roadworks, park upgrades, waste and garbage collection updates, water works, Council Meeting outcomes, projects and plans to have your say on, grants and funding opportunities, free events and school holiday activities, to name a few.

Council's e-newsletter, known as News Wrap, is issued every week direct to email inboxes. It is designed as a quick, 5-minute read.

To encourage locals to try out its e-newsletter, Council is running a subscription prize draw. Simply subscribe to News Wrap using the official competition entry form between 1 July and 10 August, and you'll go into the draw for one of three $100 #shopMidCoast vouchers which can be used to support a range of local shops and business throughout the MidCoast.

You can easily subscribe online or by completing an entry from at any MidCoast Council Customer Service Point or Library https://www.midcoast.nsw.gov.au/Your-Council/About-MidCoast-Council/Local-Government-Week

"By hearing the news first from us, you'll not only keep well informed, but you'll be helping the community. Our e-newsletter is the most efficient and economical way we can provide regular updates," said Mr Panuccio.

"This can be particularly important in times of disaster or when something unexpected comes up."
