Glen Waverley Library Collection Is On Move

GW-Library.jpg

Over the coming weeks work will commence to construct two temporary library sites which will operate during the construction of Council's $110 million Glen Waverley Civic Precinct Project.

The temporary sites will house smaller collections with some reduced services and will open from mid-2026 at Glen Waverley Library Express and Glen Waverley Children's Library to ensure we continue to deliver essential library services to our community, particularly to those most vulnerable.

During this time, library staff will begin the process of relocating parts of the Glen Waverley Library collection.

Members and library users can continue to browse and borrow items available in‑branch, online via the Monash Library app, or request items to be transferred from another branch.

While temporarily relocating our Glen Waverley Library will cause some disruption, we are committed to keeping our members and library users informed as works progress.

It is an exciting time as we look to deliver a bigger, better library for Glen Waverley.
