Glyceryl trinitrate tablets (Anginine and Lycinate)

Further to the information provided below, the sponsor of Anginine and Lycinate tablets, Arrow Pharmaceuticals, has advised the TGA that shortages of these products are expected to continue until September 2019.

The TGA has granted approval to Pfizer Australia to supply Nitrostat 600 mcg (0.6 mg) and 300 mcg (0.3 mg) tablets sourced from the United States of America under section 19A of the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989.

Consumers and health professionals are advised that the below mentioned unapproved product, GTN 300 mcg tablets sponsored by HL Pharma is no longer available under section 19A of the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989.
