Police have charged two people after a stolen vehicle was tracked across the Gold Coast District last night, 14 August.
It will be alleged, about 6.40am police tracked a stolen grey Audi Q5 driving dangerously throughout the Gold Coast.
It will be further alleged, the Audi was stolen from an East Quay Drive, Biggera Waters address between 12am and 5.30am on 12 August.
An 18-year-old man has been charged with one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, driving of motor vehicle without a driver's licence, damaging an emergency vehicle when operating motor vehicle, endangering police officer when driving a motor vehicle, serious assault police officer, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and possession of dangerous drugs as well as two counts of attempted unlawful entry of vehicle for committing indictable offence.
He is expected to appear in Southport Magistrates Court on Monday, 17 August.
A 16-year-old Burleigh Heads girl has been charged with two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
She is remanded in custody and is expected to appear in Southport Childrens Court on Monday, 17 August.
