Goondiwindi Appeals: Property and Vehicle Offences

Police have released CCTV footage as part of an ongoing investigation into property and vehicle offences in Goondiwindi on the evening of 4 February.

Initial investigations indicate around 11.30pm three people attended a Francis Street business gaining entry into a workshop through a rear door.

Once inside the offenders attempted to start a vehicle before they were disturbed and left the scene.

Around 11.45pm unknown people gained entry to a white 2014 Toyota Rav 4 at an Albert Street address before leaving the scene in the stolen vehicle.

At around 1.40am on 5 February, three people arrived at a business on Francis Street in the stolen Toyota where they again gained entry into the building stealing a safe before leaving the scene in in the stolen Toyota.

At around 2.45am on 5 February two offenders returned to the Francis Street business in the stolen Toyota stealing a 2026 Ford Superduty Ranger utility which was located on the premises.

A short time later around 3.45am the stolen Ford was used to ram the front window of an auto electrical business on Boodle Street before three offenders entered the business and stole an amount of cash and vehicle diagnostic equipment.

The three offenders then gained entry into a grey 2011 Holden VE Commodore Ute leaving the scene in the stolen vehicle along with the stolen Toyota and Ford.

The stolen Ford Ranger and Toyota RAV 4 were located at two separate addresses in Boggabilla in New South Wales on the morning of 5 February along with the stolen Holden Commodore and safe which was located in bushland near Toomelah Mission.

Police are appealing to anyone with relevant information, CCTV, or dashcam footage to come forward.

Investigations continue.
