Goulburn Mulwaree Council advises that new walking and cycling infrastructure works will commence around Goulburn High School from the 29 September 2025 through to 28 November 2025. Work will be carried out between the hours of 7am and 5pm, weather permitting.
Contactors will commence on Deccan Street and Albert Street after which they will move to Clifford Street and Goldsmith Street. Works will involve the removal of the existing footpath, the construction of footpaths, driveways and kerb and gutters.
Please be advised that there will be periods where no parking will be allowed around the school due to the works. Traffic lights will be utilised during the day to assist with the flow of traffic along Albert Street and at other times there will be traffic management in place. There will be also an increase in construction traffic and noise during this time.
Council acknowledges the temporary inconvenience and appreciates the community's patience during these important upgrades.
