Council advises residents and businesses that CCTV inspection works will soon be undertaken on sections of the sewer network within the Goulburn area.

The inspections will focus on older sewer mains (excluding newly developed subdivision areas) to assess the condition and structural integrity of the network. These proactive investigations are part of Council's ongoing commitment to maintaining reliable sewer services and identifying any potential issues before they develop into larger problems.

Council has engaged a contractor, Pipe Management Australia (PMA), to carry out the works, which are scheduled to commence on Monday, 9 March 2026.

Residents and businesses in affected areas will receive notification letters prior to works commencing in their street. While every effort will be made to minimise disruption, some temporary impacts may occur, including:

  • Short-term traffic control measures
  • Temporary lane closures or detours where required
  • Access adjustments near work zones

Traffic management will be in place to ensure the safety of pedestrians, motorists, and workers.

Community members requiring assistance during the works are encouraged to speak directly with the site supervisor on location.
