Goulburn Warned of Traffic Surge for Class 368 Event

The Goulburn community and surrounding areas are advised of an increase in traffic around the NSW Police Force Academy ahead of this week's attestation parade.

More than 3000 people are expected to attend the attestation ceremony of Class 368 on Friday 1 May 2026.

NSW Police Force Academy Commander, Chief Superintendent John Klepczarek said a high-visibility traffic operation would be in place for the duration of the event.

"Local police will be assisted by officers from Traffic and Highway Patrol Command to minimise the impact on the community."

"Those travelling to and from Goulburn, and the wider community, are encouraged to plan their trips to avoid significant delays," Chief Superintendent Klepczarek said.

Increased traffic is expected on Friday between 7am and 9.30am and between 11.30am and 1pm on roads surrounding the Academy, including Sydney Road, Union Street, Tarlo Street, Middle Arm Road and McDermott Drive.
