A second three-year wage proposal has been offered to more than 15,000 Tasmanian State Service employees.
The Tasmanian Government has worked hard to deliver a fair, affordable and comprehensive offer for the Public Sector Union Wages Agreement.
Premier Jeremy Rockliff said this extremely positive offer delivers on shared priorities across several workforces, including teacher assistants, health workers, and radio dispatch officers.
"Despite the continued industrial action that is disrupting the lives of Tasmanian families and hurting business, the Government has continued extensive negotiations," Premier Rockliff said.
"The package includes a base pay boost for the majority of workers, a pay rise, increased conditions and workplace support."
The Public Sector Union Wages Agreement 2025 proposal includes a pay rise of 3 per cent in year one, 3 per cent in year two and 2.75 per cent in year three, as well as a range of incentives and conditions, and is in line with the offer accepted by police.
"It provides fair salary increases, modernised conditions and important reforms that support the broader State Service workforce," Premier Rockliff said.
"We urge the unions to end industrial action and put this fair offer to workers for a vote.
"The Tasmanian Government has delivered pay rises for doctors, police, firefighters and education facility attendants."
The offer remains open until close of business on 31 March 2026. If an agreement is not reached by March 31, the offer of back pay will be withdrawn.
