GPs to start delivering Pfizer on 3 July

Australian Medical Association

The AMA understands that thousands of general practices have signed up to the Government's EOI to offer the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine and the first tranche of these in areas of need are expected to start administering doses in early July.

The Department of Health will bring practices on progressively as supply improves and all interested practices should be onboarded by October this year. This may happen even sooner if supply permits.

The EOI is still open, and practices are encouraged to consider lodging an EOI as soon as possible if they have not already done so.
