Australian university graduates are securing full-time employment at a higher rate than at any point since 2009.
This result comes as employment growth in the first six months of the Albanese Government is the strongest for a new Australian Government on record.
The 2022 Graduate Outcomes Survey measures the employment rate of students who have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate award degree.
The survey shows the employment rate for domestic graduates increased by almost 10 per cent since 2021, with 78.5 per cent of students securing full-time employment within four to six months of completing their course.
The overall domestic graduate employment rate - covering casual, part-time and full-time work - also experienced solid growth, increasing from 84.8 per cent in 2021 to 88.3 per cent in 2022.
These results demonstrate the value of higher education and highlight the importance of increasing access to tertiary education for more Australians.
They also reflect the high-quality education on offer at Australian universities.

Employment rates among international graduates also reached their highest level on record.
The full-time employment rate for international graduates rose by 14.7 per cent from 2021 to sit at 57.7 per cent.
The three top performing universities for domestic full-time graduate employment were regional universities - Charles Sturt University (90.7 per cent), Central Queensland University (86.9 per cent) and University of New England (86.8 per cent).
All nine regional universities recorded above average employment outcomes in 2022.
First Nations graduates had a full-time employment rate of 81.5 per cent, compared with 78.5 per cent for other graduates.
Graduates from regional and remote areas recorded a full-time employment rate of 83.0 per cent, compared with 77.6 per cent for graduates from metropolitan areas.
