Grampians to burst with flavour at this year's Grampians Grape Escape

One of regional Australia's longest running food and wine festivals, Grampians Grape Escape, returns on May 4-5 this year, boasting its biggest event ever with over 120 stalls featuring exquisite wine, fabulous food and the opportunity to try some of the region's renowned artisanal goods.

The festival will again take place at the Halls Gap Recreation Reserve, surrounded by the majestic mountain ranges of the Grampians, with plenty of entertainment and activities for people of all ages to participate in.

Such is the popularity of the event, Grampians Grape Escape was last year ranked among the top 14 food and wine festivals in the world by American Express Essentials.

This year's festival is being presented by Neoen's Bulgana Green Power Hub, and features demonstrations and workshops from chefs, restaurateurs and TV personalities such as Colin Fassnidge, Sarah Glover and Emmylou MacCarthy.

As always, attendees will be able to meet winemakers, learn from the producers and support the family owners while tasting the best food and wine that the Grampians region has to offer.

Live music will also be a feature throughout the weekend, adding to the ambience of the stunning Grampians backdrop.

Mayor of Northern Grampians Shire Council, Cr Kevin Erwin said, "It's very exciting to have Neoen partnering with the event."

"There's a really good program this year with plenty of food, wine and live music, so we're looking forward to seeing everyone come out again to this year's event."
