The Territory Labor Government has put $2 million on thetable to help drive the NTs Roadmap to Renewables agenda with grants now opento Local Government Councils.
Lighting upgrades, shade structures, renewable energy powersystems, pool covers to reduce evaporation, solar hot water systems and energyefficient pumps are some of the initiatives councils could implement to help toreduce energy use and greenhouse emissions costs.
Local Government Councils throughout the Territory haveuntil 5 April to apply for a one-off Energy Efficiency and Sustainability Grantfunding.
