Greater Beveridge Expansion Project Breaks Ground

The Greater Beveridge Community Centre is being expanded to meet the needs of the growing Beveridge community.

The $3.97 million project, funded by the Victorian Government, will deliver two additional kindergarten rooms, a minor expansion of the outdoor play space, and landscaping to ensure the facility remains accessible and welcoming.

The expansion will increase local kindergarten places, supporting the roll-out of funded three-year-old kindergarten and giving more children access to two years of high-quality early education.

Construction is progressing steadily. Internal works such as floor coverings, cabinetry and fixtures are nearing completion.

The focus is now shifting to the external areas, including realignment of the car park, expansion of the outdoor play space and landscaping.

The project remains on track for completion by December 2025, bringing improved facilities and services to the Beveridge community.
