Attribute: Detective Senior Sergeant John Love
Police cordons on Grey St and State Highway 35 in Gisborne have now been lifted.
The cordons were put into place following a sudden death in Alfred Cox Park.
Police have identified the man and are actively working to locate next of kin.
Currently, the death is not being treated as suspicious. It will be referred to the coroner.
Police ask if anyone knows anything or has seen anything to contact 105.
