Griffith City Library welcomes Alison Daddo

Griffith City Library is excited to welcome model turned author Alison Brahe-Daddo to share a candid account of her experience with menopause.

Alison will be at the Library on Thursday 13 April 2023 at 6pm.

Alison was a household name in the 90s. An entire generation of Australians grew up alongside her and now these same women find themselves going through menopause with her.

Through sharing her own experience in a very real way, Ali hopes that women won't feel so alone in what can be a very lonely time. 'Queen Menopause: Finding Your Majesty in the Mayhem' is the book Ali wrote so others who are approaching menopause may be more prepared for what is coming, embrace the process and feel supported.

Join Ali for an authentic discussion and Question and Answer along with nibbles and drinks. After the talk, books will be available for sale through Collins Booksellers Griffith and signed by the author.

Griffith City Library Acting Manager, Chris Robson is inviting residents to attend the event with Alison where they can listen to her talk about her latest book.

"This book is a friendly, frank, compassionate and comprehensive companion for any woman experiencing menopause, or anyone wondering what to expect, Mr Robson said.

"This talk is ideal for people aged 18 plus years. Book your place via wrl.eventbrite.com.au."
