Griffith Museum Unveils Spooky Halloween Tour

This Halloween, Griffith Pioneer Park Museum will come alive for a night of family fun and eerie adventure. From trick-or-treating to spooky train rides and chilling guided tours, there's something for everyone brave enough to visit on Friday 31 October 2025.

Families can start the evening with a Spooky Train Tour, a gentle fright-filled ride through the museum's haunted pathways. The Spooky Train Tours offer two sessions only, Session 1 at 6pm and Session 2 at 7pm.

Spots are limited and subject to train seat availability, so book early to secure your preferred time. Book here for the Spooky Train Tours: https://bit.ly/4pUDBnU

If you're not hopping aboard the train, you can still enjoy trick-or-treating and spooky strolls through the museum's decorated grounds. Costumes are encouraged so come and be part of the Halloween fun.

Then, as night falls, the museum takes a darker turn for those aged 18 and over. The Gory Griffith Guided Walking Tour, from 8pm to 10pm, invites brave adults to uncover the eerie stories and haunted history hidden within Griffith's past. Led by Museum Curator Fox Darcy, visitors will explore chilling tales of early settlers, haunted corners, and the unsettling history surrounding the old Griffith Hospital. Participants are encouraged to bring a torch, wear comfortable shoes and prepare to see Griffith's history in a new and haunting light.

Bookings essential for both family train tours and the adults-only Gory Griffith Tour. Book now, if you dare, to secure your spot and make this Halloween one to remember at Griffith Pioneer Park Museum.
