Schools in Bayside are required to book the use of sportsgrounds to ensure fair use between schools, sports clubs and the broader community.
Hampton Primary School did not have a confirmed booking for Castlefield Reserve.
We're intent on finding a resolution for the school and will work with them to find a suitable solution.
Please note: the fee to use a sportsground out of hours is $290 and is charged per school, per oval, per term, not per session as reported in the media. If a solution for out of hours usage cannot be found, Council will waive the $290 administration fee.
