Communities along the Shoalhaven River are currently impacted by flooding.
While rainfall has now eased, significant falls over the weekend have led to
moderate flooding on the Shoalhaven River.
The peak is currently passing through Nowra and river levels are expected to remain
high for several hours. During this period there is a heightened risk of water
inundating low lying roads and properties.
Residents living along the Shoalhaven River are asked to remain vigilant and keep
aware of their surroundings.
Make safe decisions and never enter floodwaters. There is always another way. Stay
up to date with the latest emergency information from the NSW SES at
www.ses.nsw.gov.au or follow NSW SES social media channels.
For emergency help in floods and storms, call the NSW SES on 132 500, or if lifethreatening call 000.
