A Harris Park woman is struggling to grasp the fact that her second-ever Saturday Lotto ticket landed her a $2.5 million prize in the weekend's draw.
The Sydneysider held one of the eight division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Lotto draw 4621 on Saturday 1 November 2025. Each division one winning entry pocketed $2.5 million.
"I checked my ticket after the draw, and I initially thought I'd won $2,500!" she laughed while speaking to us.
"Then I just wasn't sure what I was seeing. I just didn't know if it was correct or not.
"I just tried to get back to sleep, but really couldn't.
"I still can't believe it. It feels like I'm in a dream.
"This is only the second ticket I've ever bought. The first ticket I bought didn't win anything, but I thought I'd buy another one.
"I'm glad I did! Wow!
"I don't know exactly what I'll do with the prize, but it will certainly get rid of the mortgage!"
The woman's winning 25-game QuickPick was purchased on The Lott website - the official home of Australia's lotteries.
