Police from Hastings have arrested a man as they continue their investigation into criminal damage at Hastings Police Station.
On 6 July about 9.30pm and 8 July about 5.40pm a motorcycle was ridden across the front lawn of the police station causing damage.
Investigators have made a number of enquires and as a result executed a warrant at an address in Auburn Court on 9 July.
During a search of the property it is alleged police located a homemade firearm on the premises and arrested a 22-year-old man.
He was interviewed for firearms offences and is expected to be charged at a later date.
The investigation into the criminal damage is ongoing.
