The Hobart City Council Planning Authority Committee has approved a development application for alterations (outdoor furniture) and lighting at 10-14 Davey Street, Hobart.
The proposal includes fixed tables mounted to the building wall and updated lighting, with all outdoor furniture to remain within the existing lease area. No changes are proposed to the building's use, operating hours, servicing arrangements or waste collection.
23 Marieville Esplanade, Sandy Bay
The Hobart City Council Planning Authority Committee has approved a development application for partial demolition, alternations and upgrades to marina at 23 Marieville Esplanade, Sandy Bay.
The planning application includes maintenance and improvements to existing jetties and pontoons, installation of a wastewater treatment system, replacement of the existing landing and refuelling pontoon, and a reduction in marina berths from 130 to 119. The works are aimed at improving marina infrastructure and operational efficiency.
Officer level development applications approved between 20 July and 31 July 2026
Between Hobart City Council Planning Authority Committee meetings, the City's Planning Officers are busy reviewing a range of residential and commercial development applications for Hobart.
Since the last meeting, 15 development applications delegated to council officers were also approved while 26 development applications are currently being advertised.
