Bayside's open spaces, from our bushland reserves and coastal landscapes, to neighbourhood parks and play areas, play a vital role in the health, wellbeing, and connection of our community.
We've revised the 2012 - 2033 Bayside Open Space Strategy and prepared a draft of the Bayside Open Space Strategy 2025-2035 (BOSS 2025). The 10-year plan provides a framework for protecting and enhancing Bayside's biodiversity and ecosystem health, optimising and developing assets for multi-use purposes, and providing the community with health and wellbeing opportunities.
Now, we're inviting you to have your say.
Your feedback will help us test and refine the draft strategy to ensure it reflects community values, priorities, aspirations, and encourages a healthy and connected community. Whether you use open spaces for sport, socialising, dog walking, relaxation, or connecting with nature - we want to hear from you.
Visit Have Your Say to find out more, read the draft strategy, and provide your feedback.
Consultation closes Thursday, 21 August 2025.
