Cardinia Shire Council is developing a Township Strategy for Nar Nar Goon and invites the community to share their feedback.
The Nar Nar Goon Township Strategy includes the commercial area, residential zones, and the Nar Nar Goon Recreation Reserve. Its purpose is to establish a clear vision for Nar Nar Goon by outlining specific objectives and strategies that promote sustainable development, addressing the needs of both current and future residents. This strategy aims to create a long-term vision that reflects the community's aspirations while preserving the unique characteristics that make Nar Nar Goon a special place to live.
The Nar Nar Goon and broader Cardinia Shire community are invited to participate in this important consultation process to help shape the future of our township. Feedback will be crucial in formulating key objectives, strategies, and actions that address land use, township character, connectivity, the natural environment, and public spaces.
Community insights will ensure the township strategy addresses existing challenges and supports a cohesive land use planning framework. Additionally, the strategy will define Preferred Character Precincts, providing design guidance and built-form outcomes for both public and private land. This is an opportunity to preserve and enhance what makes Nar Nar Goon unique, and community input is essential to making this happen.
