Help sought to find teenage girl missing from Yagoona

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a teenage girl missing from Sydney's south west.

Mariam Wehbi, aged 13, was last seen at her home in Dutton Street, Yagoona last night (Saturday 22 February 2020).

At 7.30am today (Sunday 23 February 2020), her family discovered she was not in her bedroom and notified Bankstown Police Area Command and a search was commenced.

Police have serious concerns for the welfare of Ms Wehbi due to her age.

Ms Wehbi is described as being Middle Eastern in appearance, between 150-160 cm tall, with a skinny build, long brown hair with blonde streaks and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing black leggings and black jumper.

The teen is known to frequent Bankstown and Georges Hall, including the vicinity of Paul Keating Park and The Crest.
