Heritage Project Is Picture-perfect

Barossa Council

Images depicting some of the region's most historic sites and attractions will form a visual collection to help showcase the Barossa's unique heritage and culture.

Council will be providing $7,200 to the Barossa Regional Heritage Network to fund a three-day shoot which will result in 12 townships being photographed in both Autumn and Spring to capture the change of seasons in all their glory. Each heritage group will be involved in selecting the photography sites and local talent to participate in the photography shoots.

The Network is active in ensuring that the Barossa's rich history, and heritage experiences, are visible and accessible in the wider community.

The high-quality visual assets will be made available to members of the Network and for Council use for future projects and promotions including the Barossa Heritage Trails app and SA History Festival.
