High-range drink drive charge for man with three children in car - Willmot

A man has been charged with high-range PCA after he was allegedly caught driving with three children in the car in Sydney's west overnight.

Just after midnight (Sunday 26 July 2020), officers from Mount Druitt Police Area Command stopped a Ford Territory on Captain Cook Drive, Willmot.

The driver, a 53-year-old man, was subjected to a roadside breath test, returning a positive result.

The passengers included a woman and three children – aged 10, nine, and three.

He was arrested and taken to Mount Druitt Police Station where a subsequent breath analysis allegedly returned a reading of 0.165.

The man was charged with drive with high range PCA and he is due to appear at Mount Druitt Local Court on Wednesday 19 August 2020.

His licence was also been suspended.
