The updated grants program follows the adoption of Council's revised Grants Policy, which ensures a more transparent, accessible, and equitable funding process.
Mayor of The Hills Shire, Dr Michelle Byrne said Council's grants program is designed to support a wide range of projects that deliver meaningful benefits to the community.
"Council is incredibly proud to provide financial support for local initiatives that improve services, encourage positive social, economic, and cultural outcomes, and promote community participation," Mayor Byrne said.
"We've simplified the application process to make it even easier to apply, as well as fairer for everyone.
"Council is also hosting free grants training sessions, which I encourage potential applicants to attend. These sessions will help you better understand the eligibility criteria and what's required to submit a strong application."
Grant application training sessions will be held at 6:30pm at Council's Administration building at 3 Columbia Court, Norwest on Thursday, July 10 and Tuesday, July 22.
