A 35 year old man has received an infringement for failing to comply with a COVID quarantine direction upon arriving in Western Australia.
On 28 May 2021 the man arrived in Western Australia from Victoria and was issued a direction to self quarantine for 14 days at an address in Hilton.
On 30 May 2021 officers from the Self Quarantine Assurance Team attended the address and found the man was not present. A short time later he returned to the address.
A 35 year old Hilton man has been issued a $1000 infringement for Fail to Comply with a Direction.
